GLP has launched a number of initiatives to pursue renewable energy development including rooftop solar on our global logistics real estate portfolio, wind assets and energy storage solutions.

Today we have 890 megawatts (MW) of installed solar capacity across our real estate portfolio which contributes to reducing our carbon impact. The clean energy produced by GLP is sold back to utility companies or our tenants, reducing the strain on local electricity grids and positively impacting our communities.

In China, GLP has developed its own EV-charging infrastructure ecosystem with solar-powered charging stations installed across approximately 30% of our portfolio.Electric charging stations are a standard feature of the parking spaces at our new developments in China, Europe, India and the US.

GCTL

GCTL is a joint venture between GLP and Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL) the world’s leading battery provider and the largest maker of electric vehicle (EV) batteries to expand the use of clean energy in logistics and transportation. GCTL aims to expand the use of new energy through asset-as-a-service offerings, expanding energy storage capabilities and providing renewable energy to logistics assets and autonomous vehicles.
