GLP buildings are sources of renewable energy generated by rooftop photovoltaic panels. Globally, we have over 415 megawatts (MW) of solar panels that cover 4.4 million square meters (over 47 million square feet) and generate over 430,000 megawatt hours (MWh) annually, reducing CO2 emissions. The clean energy produced is sold back to utility companies or our tenants, reducing the strain on local electricity grids. It is one way we support our customers and their sustainability goals.

Next Case study EV Infastructure Hidden Hill Capital, a private equity investment platform backed by GLP, has established an RMB fund with YKC Clean Energy Technologies, China's leading renewable energy SaaS provider, to invest in EV charging infrastructure in China. The fund held a first close of RMB 200 million in October 2021 and is targeting a total of RMB 1 billion to build China’s largest EV charging network.
