GLP Leases 29,000 sqm (312,000 sq ft) in Japan to Major 3PL Company
GLP has signed approximately 29,000 sqm (312,000 sq ft) of new leases in Greater Tokyo and Osaka with a major 3PL provider. Following these agreements, the first lease contract between GLP and the customer, the lease ratio at GLP Kawasaki, GLP Kadoma and GLP Osaka II stands at over 99%.

Singapore, 28 January 2013 – Global Logistic Properties Limited (“GLP”), one of the world’s leading providers of modern logistics facilities, with a market-leading presence in China, Japan and Brazil, announces that it has signed approximately 29,000 square metres (“sqm”) (312,000 square feet (“sq ft”)) of new leases in Greater Tokyo and Osaka with a major third party logistics (“3PL”) provider (“the customer”). Following these agreements, the first lease contract between GLP and the customer, the lease ratio at GLP Kawasaki, GLP Kadoma and GLP Osaka II stands at over 99%.

The following details the recently signed new lease agreements.
- 12,200 sqm (131,000 sq ft) leased at GLP Kadoma, located 10km east of Osaka’s central business district.
- 9,300 sqm (100,000 sq ft) leased at GLP Kawasaki in Greater Tokyo. Strategically located within 5km proximity of Tokyo International (Haneda) airport and Port of Kawasaki; and 13km proximity of Tokyo’s Oi Container Terminal port and the Port of Yokohama, GLP Kawasaki is an ideal hub for domestic distribution in Japan.
- 7,200 sqm (78,000 sq ft) leased at GLP Osaka II, which is situated within 15km from central Osaka via the Hanshin Expressway.
