GLP Japan Launches GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara
GLP Japan today announced the launch of GLP ALFALINK, its new innovative logistics park concept in Japan featuring an integrated supply chain, modern open-concept design, and innovative technologies.
The GLP ALFALINK concept will promote supply chain optimization by allowing customers to integrate an end-to-end supply chain from product development to delivery in a single facility.
The open-concept design will include a restaurant, convenience store, conference rooms, nursery and gym designed to encourage community and collaboration and increase workplace satisfaction. And innovative software and hardware technology solutions will be integrated throughout each facility to support the operations of customers.
The first project to be launched is GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara in Greater Tokyo. The large-scale project is expected to be developed in phases and ultimately provide over 650,000 square meters (7 million square feet) of total gross floor area across five buildings. GLP expects to commence the first phase of construction in 2020.
